At Johnson Block & Company, we devote a substantial portion of our practice to providing audit and consulting services to nonprofit and governmental agencies in Wisconsin. This reflects our commitment to providing effective yet affordable services to area communities and the organizations that serve them.
Our clients include schools, counties, cities, villages, human service agencies, hospitals, nursing homes, home nursing services, group homes, trade associations, libraries, multi-county commissions and other nonprofit entities. Our clients range in size from start-up organizations with no staff to organizations with hundreds of employees.
Nearly all of our clients receive some type of governmental assistance. We work with numerous funding agencies to ensure that our audits meet the needs of both our clients and their funding agencies. We consult with agencies regarding federal and state programs such as Medicare, Medicaid and the Wisconsin Community Options Program.
Our governmental audit staff is required to complete 120 hours of continuing education every three years, with 24 of these hours relating to governmental accounting.
